该项目位于沙特东部省某工业园区,主要处理园区内配套生活区产生的生活污水,设计处理规模200m³/d,出水执行当地灌溉回用标准。客户初期面临三大挑战:一是当地夏季极端高温达50℃以上,对设备的机电组件和生化系统构成严峻考验;二是项目地处沙漠边缘,风沙频繁,粉尘对曝气系统和仪表的长期影响不容忽视;三是园区远离主要城市,技术支持和设备维护的及时性难以保障。
针对上述挑战,中侨启迪技术团队提出了"集装箱式一体化污水处理设备+特种工况适配+混沌云平台远程运维"的整体解决方案。设备主体采用两个40英尺标准集装箱模块并联运行,前段集装箱集成格栅渠、调节池和A²O生化处理单元,后段集装箱集成MBR膜池、消毒单元和电控系统。整套设备采用"预处理+A²O+MBR+紫外消毒"工艺路线,出水SS低于5mg/L,BOD₅低于10mg/L,粪大肠菌群未检出,全面优于当地灌溉回用标准。

为应对极端高温环境,中侨启迪在设备制造环节进行了多项定制化改进。曝气风机和回流泵全部选用耐高温型号,额定工作温度可达65℃;MBR膜组件采用PVDF材质,热稳定性优异,可在60℃以下长期稳定运行;电气控制柜配备工业级空调冷却系统,确保PLC和变频器等核心器件在50℃环境温度下正常工作。同时,进风口加装二级过滤装置(粗效+中效),有效阻挡沙尘侵入,延长设备维护周期。
在生化系统设计方面,针对沙特地区进水COD偏低(200-300mg/L)、碳氮比不足的特点,技术团队在A²O工艺前端增设了缺氧选择器,强化内源反硝化效率,同时在好氧池中投加自产MBBR填料,构建"活性污泥+MBBR"复合生化系统。这一设计既保证了低负荷条件下的污泥活性,又通过填料上的生物膜提供了稳定的硝化菌群,确保出水氨氮稳定低于5mg/L。

Overseas Project Report: Zhongqiao Qidi's Export Wastewater Treatment Equipment in Action
A Full-Case Review of the Saudi Arabia Containerized Wastewater Treatment Project
Against the backdrop of deep alignment between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the Middle Eastern market has become a key destination for Chinese environmental protection equipment enterprises. In October 2025, Shandong Zhongqiao Qidi Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully delivered a containerized integrated wastewater treatment project for export to Saudi Arabia, establishing another benchmark case for Chinese-made export wastewater treatment equipment in a desert nation.
The project is located in an industrial park in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, primarily treating domestic sewage from the park's residential area. The design capacity is 200 m³/d, with effluent meeting local irrigation reuse standards. The client initially faced three major challenges: first, local summer temperatures exceeding 50°C posed severe challenges to electromechanical components and biochemical systems; second, the project's location at the desert's edge meant frequent sandstorms, with long-term dust impact on aeration systems and instrumentation; and third, the park's distance from major cities made timely technical support and equipment maintenance difficult to guarantee.
In response, Zhongqiao Qidi's technical team proposed a comprehensive solution: containerized integrated wastewater treatment equipment with special-condition adaptations and the Hundun Cloud Platform for remote O&M. The main equipment comprises two 40-foot standard container modules operating in parallel. The front container integrates the screen channel, equalization tank, and A²O biochemical treatment unit, while the rear container houses the MBR membrane tank, disinfection unit, and electrical control system. The entire system follows a "pretreatment + A²O + MBR + UV disinfection" process route, with effluent SS below 5 mg/L, BOD₅ below 10 mg/L, and undetectable fecal coliform—fully exceeding local irrigation reuse standards.

To address the extreme high-temperature environment, Zhongqiao Qidi implemented multiple customized improvements during manufacturing. Aeration blowers and recirculation pumps were all selected as high-temperature-rated models with a rated operating temperature of 65°C. The MBR membrane modules use PVDF material with excellent thermal stability, suitable for long-term stable operation below 60°C. The electrical control cabinet is equipped with an industrial-grade air-conditioning cooling system, ensuring that core components such as PLCs and VFDs operate normally at 50°C ambient temperatures. Additionally, a two-stage filtration system (coarse + medium efficiency) was installed at the air intake to effectively block sand and dust ingress, extending equipment maintenance intervals.
In terms of biochemical system design, given the relatively low influent COD (200–300 mg/L) and insufficient C/N ratio characteristic of the Saudi region, the technical team added an anoxic selector before the A²O process to enhance endogenous denitrification efficiency, while introducing self-produced MBBR media into the aerobic tank to create an "activated sludge + MBBR" composite biochemical system. This design ensures sludge activity under low-load conditions while the biofilm on the media provides a stable nitrifying bacterial population, guaranteeing effluent ammonia nitrogen consistently below 5 mg/L.
From contract signing to equipment shipment, the project took only 45 days, fully demonstrating Zhongqiao Qidi's rapid delivery capability as an export wastewater treatment equipment manufacturer. After the equipment arrived in Saudi Arabia, Zhongqiao Qidi dispatched two technical engineers for a 15-day on-site installation and commissioning. Leveraging the remote assistance capabilities of the Hundun Cloud Platform, subsequent operational parameter adjustments, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance guidance were all completed via the cloud, reducing O&M costs by over 60% and earning exceptionally high client satisfaction.
The successful delivery of the Saudi project further consolidated Zhongqiao Qidi's brand influence in the Middle Eastern market. Building on this entry point, the company has since received multiple inquiries and prospective orders from Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries. Notably, this project has also been compiled by Zhongqiao Qidi as a standardized export case study, integrated into the product showcase system presented to overseas clients, and has played a significant demonstration role in actual business negotiations.
